Keith Cushing, Vice President of Research and Collaboration at the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities (CICU), leads a team focused on research, strategy, and collaborative partnerships between private colleges and universities and the business community.
Keith is a business analytics professional with experience in all aspects of data cleansing and processing, data visualization, marketing research, management consulting, and higher education.
Prior to joining CICU, Keith worked at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), on a team that designed, developed, and delivered a campus-wide data warehouse.
Before joining RPI, Keith worked at Mercer Management Consulting (Oliver Wyman), first as a marketing research analyst and later as a project manager and consultant on client engagements for several Fortune 500 companies.
Keith earned a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Bentley University in Waltham, MA, and a bachelor’s degree in music education from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
